The Coming Out Monologues returns this October 25-27th! Building on the success of the Fairy Tales Artists & Makers’ Market this past summer, CQAS is excited to welcome new and returning artists and makers to show & sell their work at TCOM 💖

All submissions will be reviewed by a small panel of artists and arts administrators. Applications are due by Sunday, September 29th - apply today for a chance to share your work in the Burnswest Theatre at the Confluence!

If you’re a Queer artist or maker and would like to be considered, please fill out this form, or send an email with photograph(s) of the work(s) you would like to share & sell, including its dimensions, a bio and an artist statement.

You may submit up to 4 pieces for consideration by the jury. 10 to 15 pieces will be chosen for the exhibition based on the ability of the piece to add colour, texture and story to our shared understanding of Queer lived experience.

There is no cost for submission and all artists chosen will receive an honorarium and the ability to sell their piece at the festival. This is an exclusive opportunity as there is limited space available for the market (12-15 vendors). Market entrance will be free to the public and you will have a built-in audience.

All submissions will be evaluated by a small committee of artists and arts administrators.
