In keeping with this year’s festival theme of memorable movie moments, the Retro Gala Party will be a blast from the past with a screening of the iconic trans* punk rock musical: HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. In partnership with Velvet Cinema, this blast from Broadway will screen on original 35mm print in one of the only venues in Calgary that still screens films old school. Dare to wear your most amazing punk rock glamour outfits. This interactive event will include live local performances.
